Doug Struble, Red Lion Bio-Energy VP of Operations

Doug Struble

Vice-President of Operations

Doug Struble is vice-president of operations for Red Lion Bio-Energy LLC, as well as the company's senior engineer. With more than 15 years experience in project management, Struble is responsible for the construction and development of Red Lion Bio-Energy's portable commercially sized syngas unit.

Before beginning work with Red Lion Bio-Energy, Struble was vice-president of operations for Midwest Terminals in Toledo, Ohio. There, he managed the operations of two port facilities in Toledo, while working to implement safer work procedures and increase productivity. Struble earned a Bachelor's of Science Degree in plastic engineering from Ferris State and Central Michigan Universities. In addition, he has completed nearly 100 hours of advance management training at Purdue University and has been awarded three patents.


Roger Jorgenson, Red Lion Bio-Energy Project Manager

As manufacturing manager for Red Lion Bio-Energy LLC, Roger Jorgenson has been involved with the Red Lion Biofuels project from its inception. He has been instrumental in the manufacture of the high temperature components inside the pyrolitic chamber, process reactor and the super heated steam circuits.

Prior to Roger's involvement with Red Lion, he served as the president of a precision machining and fabrication company that served electrical generation, petro-chemical, optical, material handling and numerous other industries. Roger attended Oklahoma State University Technical Branch, where he earned a degree in machine tool technology. In addition, he completed courses in metallurgy at Tulsa Community College.

Chemical Process Engineer

Noureen Faizee joined the Red Lion team in 2008 as a chemical process engineer. She is responsible for dealing with a number of technical aspects of the syngas project and manages the process design of feedstocks for the portable unit, as well. Faizee also works with Doug Struble to foster research and development.

Faizee holds a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio. She also holds a Bachelor's of Technology in Chemical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University of Hyderabad, India.


Drew Johnson

Plant Manager

Drew Johnson has been involved with the Red Lion Biofuel project since its inception. He brings a deep understanding of plant operations to the project. Johnson's expertise will be critical as additional plants are established throughout the country. To that end, Johnson will play a crucial role in future modifications and improved efficiencies.

Johnson was also an integral part of the team that developed plans for plant relocation from Denver, Colorado to Toledo, Ohio. He earned a bachelor's degree in logistics and finance from The Ohio State University and has worked in the rail transportation industry.
